After the positive reaction caused in Bucharest by the abrogation of the visa regime for Romanian travelers imposed by the Communist government, the talks with the Romanian authorities over the bilateral cooperation and signing of important documents slowed down owing to the political crisis in the neighboring state , Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca said at Wednesday's meeting of the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports. Leanca said yet that this stage was already overcome and Romania's acting Foreign Minister Catalin Marian Predoiu is expected to come to Chisinau next week. The agenda of the meetings includes issues regarding the improvement of the relations between the two countries. Immediately after investiture, the new Government of Moldova decided to resume the talks with Romania and identify the barriers hindering the bilateral cooperation. Prime Minister Vlad Filat instructed Iurie Leanca to prepare and sign the Convention on Small-Scale Border Traffic and then other important documents.
