Four vehicles with nine occupants were involved in an accident on the M 2 Chisinau-Soroca road, near Peresecina village of Orhei district, in the morning of March 16. Three of the passengers needed medical care, IPN reports.
Press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Diana Fetco said that a vehicle with a Romanian license number turned left to get to a roadside café and was struck from behind by another car, being projected to the opposite direction lane. Two units of transport moving legally could not avoid it and collided with this car.
According to the press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan, those who were hurt suffered minor injuries, but were taken to the Orhei District Hospital by an ambulance for examinations.
Traffic in the area wasn’t disrupted, but movement was more difficult.
