An ambulance and a car collided on Friday at the intersection of Ștefan cel Mare și Sânt Blvd and Vasile Alecsandri St in the capital city. Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said that the ambulance was traveling with the flasher and the siren on, having a patient on board.
Following the impact, the car of the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance was projected into a traffic signal pole, while the car crashed into a tree.
Two medical workers and the driver and passenger of the car were injured in the accident. They were transported to the hospital.
An investigation is underway.
