Access to two bridges on M5 road opened

After repair works that lasted for a year and a half, the bridges on the M5 road (border with Ukraine-Criva-Balti-Chisinau-Tiraspol-border with Ukraine), located on the 38.34th km and 24.93km, were opened to vehicle traffic. The investments totaled 37 million lei, with the money being fully allocated from the Road Fund, IPN reports, quoting the State Road Administration.

Street rehabilitation works were performed on the road situated on the 38.34th km in Briceni town. The parapet on a length of 440 meters was taken away and set up in accordance with the current norms.

The works to repair the second bridge in Beleavintsi village included the replacement of the parapet on a length of 376 meters and the lining of slopes and verges in the volume of 350 cubic meters.

The two-lane bridges are 62.10 meters long. The works were to be completed by December 31 this year.
