Access roads to apartment building yards under repair

The works to stop up the holes in the access roads to the yards of apartment buildings in Chisinau will start this week, head of the road maintenance company “Exdrupo” Efim Cheptanaru said in the May 10 meeting of City Hall officials. “Pay special attention to the yards so as to avoid the last year’s situation. The stopping up works should be of a high quality, as for the main roads,” said acting mayor Nistor Grozavu. The damaged upper layer was removed from 121 streets. As to the suburbs, the roads to Cricova and Vadul lui Voda are yet to be repaired. The local authorities this year plan to completely repair 10 streets. Nistor Grozavu said the repair works will start in a month. Columna St will be the first to be reconstructed. Alba Iulia St, which started to crack three months after it was repaired, will be restored partially, not fully as projected initially.
