As of May 2, the access of private units of transport to cemeteries in Chisinau will be restricted. The Chisinau City Hall said the measure is taken in connection with the cleanup and laying out works done before Low Sunday or Sunday of the Dead, IPN reports.
The access to the Saint Lazarus Cemetery situated on Doina St will be limited as of May 2, while to the Central Cemetery located on Alexei Mateevici St, the Catholic Cemetery on Trandafirilor St, the Saint Trinity Cemetery on Șoseaua Muncești St, the Sculeni Cemetery on Călărași St and the Cemetery “Ștefan Ciobanu” on Decembriștilor St as from May 3.
Those who will go to cemeteries during these days to bring the graves in order are urged to obey the restrictions imposed on private transport.
