ACC preserves Integrated Management System certificate

SA Apa-Canal Chisinau (ACC has kept the Integrated Management System – Quality, Environment, Health and Occupational Security certificate according to EN ISO 9001 : 2008, EN ISO 14001:2005 and OHSAS 18001 : 2007, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The implementation of the Integrated Management System was analyzed by a foreign audit team from the Romanian Movement for Quality between June 29, 2009 and July 2, 2009.
The experts pointed to the managerial team’s efforts to attract and ensure resources for improving the wastewater treatment process and to efficiently manage the waste, the actions taken in emergencies, the communication with customers and the readiness to satisfy their demands and to the internal communication.
The next foreign audit will be carried out next year.
“As we live a difficult period, we consider that the preservation of the Integrated Management System is an useful instrument that enables to keep the processes at the company under control and to implement coherent and efficient measures aimed at overcoming the current economic and financial crisis,” said Constantin Becciev, director general of SA Apa-Canal Chisinau.
The company’s integrated management policy was revised on January 26, 2009. The managerial team and employees of the ACC contributed significantly to the formulation, implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System. As a result, the water supplier was certified by the Romanian Movement for Quality, which is a certification organization recognized all over Europe.
