SA “Apa-Canal Chsinau” (ACC) has announced the launch of a new edition of the drawing contest “Story of water” with the slogan “Natural solutions for water”. This year the participants in the contest are invited to also submit videos. The contenders must present water in different seasons and states and can also focus on environmental protection, including the protection and keeping of water clean, the ties between people and water and other issues, IPN reports.
In a press release, ACC says the competition is open to first-ninth graders from Chisinau municipality. The students can compete with only one drawing made on paper of the A4 or A3 size. The works must have the following details written on the left lower corner of the opposite site: name and surname of the author; school, class and telephone number of the student; title of the work, name and telephone number of the guiding teacher, if necessary.
The contenders can also make a video and send it to the electronic address nadejda.fotescu@gmail.com, indicating the aforementioned data in word format, or can take it to the company’s office.
The selected works will be submitted to the head office of “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, situated at 38 Albisoara St, Press Center, office 307, or to the Chancellery, of. 311 on workdays, during March 3-20, between 8am and 3pm.
The winners will be chosen by a jury consisting of teachers of participating schools and representatives of ACC. The authors of the best works will be awarded diplomas and money. The money awards will be handed over on the day of the exhibition –contest that will take place at the company’s office on March 22.
The exhibition is at the third edition and is devoted to World Water Day.
