Academy of Science and Banca de Economii organize a contest to support science and innovations

Banca de Economii and the Moldovan Academy of Science (ASM) organize, for the third time, the national contest of supporting science and innovation in the R. of Moldova. The prizes will be awarded for remarkable results, obtained in these domains, in 2006, the press service of ASM informs, cited by Info-Prim Neo. The contest for supporting science and innovation includes four nominations: “The scientist of the year in the domain of social sciences”, for which a prize of MDL 25,000 is offered; “the scientist of the year in the domain of natural sciences”- with a prize of MDL 25,000; “The innovator of the year” – prize of MDL 15,000; “The young innovator of the year” – a prize of MDL, 10,000. The upper limit age for participating in the last nomination of the competition is 35. Researchers representing institutions from the sphere of science and innovation that act on the territory of the Republic of Moldova may participate in the competition. The priority will be accorded to remarkable results with a positive impact on the scientific development and national economy, as well as solving problems that relate to current necessities of the society. Those who wish to participate in the competition should submit their files till November 17. Participants shall hand in an application, which can be obtained from the Supreme Council for science and technological development of ASM.
