Viorel Iordachescu was elected first vice president of the National Unity Party (PUN). The elected vice presidents of the PUN are: Ion Cobyshenko, Ana Guțu, Igor Petcu, Laura Urschi, Victoria Botnari, Valentina Nicolenko, Dorin Dushchak, Sergiu Burlacu and Corneliu Pântea.

The decision made by NR Investments Ltd to give up buying a 95% shareholding in Avia Invest SRL, which manages the Chisinau International Airport, hasn’t been discussed with the Moldovan authorities. After NR Investment Limited conceded control over the company, a businessman from Russia took over Avia-Invest.
According to a press release of the PAS, the developments related to the Chisinau International Airport show the agreement between Igor Dodon (PSRM) and Vladimir Plahotniuc (PDM) also includes the replacement of owners at the Chisinau Airport.
Dreaming of decent pensions
The persons whose old-age pensions were set before January 1, 1999 and have an insurance period of at least 15 years can have their pensions recalculated. As if January 1, 2019, there were reexamined the pensions of persons who retired after January 1, 1999 and have an insurance period of 15 years and more. According to the National House of Social Insurance, about 3,400 persons had their pensions recalculated this year.

Executive director of the Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT Igor Boțan said that as a result of the change of the government partner, representatives of the Socialists and the Democrats, who supported each other, were chosen as district and deputy district heads. In parallel, by common effort, the two parties replaced the representatives of the ACUM Bloc in the posts of chairpersons of parliamentary commissions.
