The people formed lines at the water quality testing lab of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” that was set up in the central square of Chisinau on the occasion of the National Wine Day. Specialists took hundreds of samples of water brought not only by inhabitants of Chisinau, but also by people from outside the city, IPN reports.
As many as 855 samples of water for free testing were collected during October 7-8. Of these, 120 were already analyzed. The other specimens will be examined and the results will be sent to the persons through email or official letters.
The collected water samples were from different sources. As many as 522 samples were from wells with a local spring, 148 from the faucet, 59 from already filtered sources, 42 from artesian wells, while 26 from bottles.
The water supplier said the examinations centered on the following parameters: PH, conductivity, hardness and chlorines. The inhabitants and guests of Chisinau could obtain more information about the quality of water from the company’s specialists. Besides the activities to inform and raise awareness of the importance of water for a healthy life, those who wanted could swiftly check the hydration level of the body.
