Since the process to enroll children in the first grade was launched, over 6,800 applications have been submitted online through the available municipal platform. This is about 73% of the number of places planned in educational institutions in Chisinau, Andrei Pavaloi, deputy head of the General Education, Youth and Sport Division, stated in the meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.
The enrolment of children of school age through the platform escoala.chisinau.md continues. In accordance with the regulations, all the children who turn seven before the start of the school year from a given school district are mandatorily enrolled at the school.
The registration of children in the first grade for the 2022-2023 school year takes place in two stages - between April 1 and June 13, when applications were submitted according to the domicile address, and between June 14 and August 29, when the places that remained available will be filled.
As to the integration of refugee children, Andrei Pavaloi said that 608 students were enrolled in 50 schools so far. Also, 247 children aged between three and seven were integrated into 54 kindergartens.
