About 6m lei to be allocated for repairing damaged buildings

The Government will allocate approximately 6 million lei from its intervention fund for repairing buildings damaged as a result of natural disasters, IPN reports.

Of this sum, over 3million lei will go to repair the kindergarten “Prietenia” in Pirlita village of Ungheni district, which was affected by the torrential rain with hail of June 2016. The local authorities already transferred 30,000 lei for the purpose.

About 500,000 lei will be used to finalize the repair of the roof of the district sports school of Drochia. Earlier, there was transferred a sum of 462,000 lei for reconstructing this. The roof was damaged by the torrential rain of July 2017.

Over 2 million lei will be allocated for repairing the National Museum of History of Moldova, the Museum-House “A.S. Pushkin”, the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu” and the building of the National Academic Folk Dances Ensemble “Joc” that were affected by the heavy snowfall of last April.

The Government’s intervention fund consists of 20 million lei.
