About 650 blocks and facilities in Chisinau are connected to thermal network

389 blocks of flats, most of them belonging to the municipal dwelling fund, benefit from heat already. Only 3 owners’ associations and 6 departmental blocks are among them. In total, 648 institutions were connected to the thermal network in Chisinau municipality. According to a press release of “Termocom” JSC, kindergartens, schools and hospitals are firstly connected to the heating network. At the moment, 111 kindergartens, 61 schools, 48 lyceums, 3 institutions of higher education, 8 hospitals, 12 policlinics benefit from thermal supply. At the same time, several institutions in suburban districts, including two kindergartens, two schools, a medical institution in Gratiesti and Tohatin, as well as five blocks of flats in private sectors, were connected to the thermal network. Sixteen institutions were connected at the request of the economic agents. There were issued 166 connection permits. The thermal supplier asserts that the other blocks of apartments can be also connected to the centralized systems, if their managers request this service from “Termocom”. At the same time, the enterprise specifies that it will supply heat only to the institutions that fulfill all the connection conditions. “Termocom” states that it will continue the process of connection to the thermal network both of the budgetary institutions and of the block of flats without debts, so that on 1 November all of them have heat.
