About 430 invitees to attend swearing-in of Nicolae Timofti

Approximately 430invitees will be present at the swearing-in of the new President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti. The ceremony will take place at the Palace of the Republic at 2pm. The invitees are expected to arrive at the palace starting at 12.30, the President’s spokesman Iulian Berko has told Info-Prim Neo. The solemn meeting will be attended by lawmakers, judges of the Constitutional Curt and the Supreme Court of Justice, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, accompanied by all the ministers, the Governor of Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal, party leaders, counselors, chairpersons of creation associations, heads of ethnic organizations, etc. Among the foreign invitees, there will be the Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova Dirk Schuebel, the Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission Jan Plesinger and all the ambassadors working in Chisinau. Nicolae Timofti was elected head of state by the votes of 62 MPs on March 16.
