About 3,049 single persons of the municipality Chisinau receive 500 lei starting 8 March

About 3,049 single persons of the municipality Chisinau will receive 500 lei starting 8 March, the head of the Social Assistance Department, Eugenia Ciobanu, said. She said that on the International Women’s Day there would be given money, following until Easter, to allot money to all single persons. On 8 March, the leadership of this municipal service will congratulate 280 social assistants. Eugenia Ciobanu noted that this department takes care of disadvantaged persons. Thus, last year, 1,967 persons got treatment tickets in sanatoriums, 3,192 persons were provided with services in hair in the same time, over 200 pensioners benefited from free denture. Daily, about 800 persons have the lunch in the social canteens. In cooperation with the Denture Centre, she mentioned, 310 disabled persons received pushcarts, and 756 – different orthopaedic equipment. At the moment, there are registered 115,187 pensioners in municipality Chisinau, 30,369 of them are invalids.
