About 300 farms of Lopatica village partially flooded by rains

About 300 individual farms of Lopatica village, Cahul raion were partially flooded by the intense rains of the last 24 hours. According to the Department of Exceptional Situations, the abundant rains, here and there with hail, and the strong wind deteriorated the roofs of 14 houses from this locality. At the same time, another 290 individual farms were partially flooded and 2.5 km of roadway deteriorated. At the moment the damages caused by nature can not be estimated. Because of the rains several localities from UTA Gagauzia, Causeni, Criuleni, Anenii-Noi, Straseni and Hincesti raions face power shortages. At present the villages Sofia, Drochia, Varzarestii-Noi, Floreni, Gura Bacului and Anenii Noi still lack electricity. According to the Hidrometeo State Service, in the next ours the rains will continue, partially intense and with hail.
