About 150 children without escort sent back from border

The border police so far this year sent back from the border over 2,000 persons, about 150 of whom children without escort. According to the statistics of the Border Police, about 1,000 persons were not allowed to cross the border in summer because they didn’t have the necessary documents or their period of validity expired, IPN.

Thus, more than 1,600 persons weren’t allowed to leave Moldova, while more than 700 to enter Moldova from the start of this year. About 450 persons were sent back because they presented invalid documents. Another 250 persons didn’t have notarial documents for the units of transport, while 160 didn’t have mandatory civil liability insurance Green Card.

The Border Police warn the Moldovans who want to cross the border and the foreigners who intend to come to Moldova to verify the documents that are presented at the state border and to inform themselves about the legal periods of stay.
