About 14,100 students graduated from some form of vocational education in 2018, with the numbers split approximately equally between the secondary and post-secondary level.
The National Statistics Bureau said that in the academic year 2018/2019, the vocational education system was composed of 42 vocational schools, 34 colleges, and 13 centers of excellence. At the beginning of the academic year 2018/2019, these institutions were attended by a total 44,300 students: 13,900 in vocational schools, 17,400 in colleges, and 13,000 in centers of excellence.
Of the total number of students enrolled in centers of excellence, 11,600 attended post-secondary vocational training courses and 1,4000 secondary training courses.
In the academic 2018/2019 the number of students enrolled in secondary vocational education dropped by 15.9% from five years before.
