The Cabinet approved the regulations concerning the setting and paying of financial assistance that envision the modification of the payment mechanism, IPN reports.
The persons who remained with disabilities as a result of the war in Afghanistan, the war for defending the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova and the Chernobyl cleanup and the rehabilitated victims of the political repression of 1917-1990 will get a lump sum of 1,000 lei.
The participants in World War II will receive 10,000 lei in annual financial assistance, while the persons involved in demining activities will get by 5,000 lei.
A total of 13,500 persons will receive financial assistance from the state. Over 22 million lei was earmarked in the 2018 state budget for the purpose.
