The dwellers of about 100 apartment buildings in Telecentru quarter and Buiucani district of Chisinau will not be supplied with running hot water during two-three weeks. The supplier said a series of important works need to be carried out to rehabilitate the heat pipes and the disconnections cannot be avoided.
The supply of hot water to 87 apartment buildings in Telecentru will be stopped between July 24 and August 14 and to 16 blocks in Buiucani between July 24 and August 7. Contacted by IPN, head of the Public Relations Service of SA “Termoelectrica” Elena Junghina said the company has to interrupt the supply of hot water as there are no other sources for providing these blocks with water during repair works.
Last year the supplier gave up stopping the supply of hot water in a centralized way to all the inhabitants of Chisinau for a month, as it had done during many years.
