The goods that were transmitted or were to be transmitted as shares of the property of former agricultural enterprises, which weren’t put in the corresponding publicity registers, will become the property of territorial-administrative units on whose territory they are situated. It goes to abandoned goods, including buildings. A bill to this effect was adopted by the Government, IPN reports.

The bill refers to two categories of goods – abandoned goods that aren’t in the possession of territorial-administrative units and goods owned by persons. The goods owned by territorial-administrative unitseducational, health, culture, sport, social assistance and protection facilities and buildings of the public administration – that need to be added to publicity registers will be put in the register as required, being temporarily registered as property of the territorial-administrative unit, based on the local council’s decision by which the list of gods is approved.

The local authorities will be obliged to organize public consultations on the list of goods so as to make sure that there are no challenges and claims. In a year of the posting of the list inside the mayor’s office or in other places accessible to the general public, the goods become the property of territorial-administrative units.

The legislative proposal is to be adopted by Parliament.
