Aaron Cook wins bronze at London Grand Prix

Naturalized athlete Aaron Cook won a bronze medal at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix London 2017, IPN reports.

In the 80 kg weight class, the 26-year-old athlete was beaten by Cheick Sallah Cisse of the Ivory Coast and Russia’s Maxim Hramtsov. This year, Cook has also won silver in the Moscow Grand Prix and bronze in the World Championship of South Korea. Cook was born in the UK and has represented Moldova since 2015.

The London Grand Prix also involved the brothers Stepan and Vadim Dimitrov from Moldova. They failed to medal.
