The Moldovan Civil Aviation Authority (ACC) advises travelers to check the online flight schedule before heading to the Chisinau Airport, after a technical failure of Microsoft/Windows services hit airports across the world.
Meanwhile, the Chisinau International Airport said its IT systems remained up and running, but since the outage affected the online booking and check-in systems for multiple airlines, delays are expected with the check-in procedure.
In addition to checking the Chisinau Airport’s online schedule for any flight updates, travelers are asked to come at least three hours prior to their scheduled flight.
The outage has caused chaos worldwide, particularly affecting airports in Europe and the US. Microsoft said it was investigating and working to fix the issue.
