The square at the crossing of the streets Bucuresti – Nicolae Iorga – A. Sciusev will be named after the Russian writer Nicolai V. Gogol.
The decision was taken at the last meeting of Chisinau Municipal Council at the request of the International Friendship and Cooperation Association „Moldova and Russia”, with the agreement of the administration of the lyceum „Nicolai V. Gogol”. The square is near this education institution.
In the light of CMC decision, the Green Spaces Management Association and the lyceum’s administration will undertake measures in order to fit and take care of the square, within the limits of the allocations planned for taking care of the territory and allocations planned in the financial report of the lyceum „Nicolai V. Gogol” for 2006.
