A Number of Institutions and Organizations from Edinet Raion have not Hoisted the National Flag of the Republic of Moldova

A number of institutions and organizations have not hoisted the national flag of the Republic of Moldova on the 27th of August – the Independence Day, as well as on the 31st of August, during the „Our Language” festivities, thereby infringing on the stipulations of the Code regarding the national flag. On the 27th and 31st of August, the national flag was not hoisted on the sites of buildings which belong to some state service institutions, such as the raion State Fiscal Inspectorate, the raion branches of „Posta Moldovei” and „Moldotelecom”, the family doctors’ raion center, the Edinet branch of the chamber of commerce and industry, the house of social insurance, the town museum, the civil state raion office. The national flag was missing from the building of the raion magistracy as well. The same institutions and organizations have not hoisted the national flag on other similar festivities. In the town of Sangerei, the national flag was not hoisted on the sites of the state statistics raion section, the police commissariat, the cadastral office, the state archive, the „Moldtelecom” and „Posta Moldovei” branches, the magistracy and raion law court, the preventive medical centre, as well as the family doctors’ centre. The code regarding the national flag was established in 1990 and stipulates the hoisting of the flag “during holidays and memorable events” on the buildings of official institutions and structures, enterprises, institutions, organizations, as well as on the living estates.
