Patients in the southern region of the country have access to modern dialysis services within a high-performance center, inaugurated in Cahul. The Dialysis Center in Cahul is the fourth one opened within the public-private partnership project, thus ensuring access to high-quality dialysis service at national level, IPN reports.
The medical services provided by "BB-Dialysis" Center in Cahul are identical to those of the Excellence Center in Chisinau. Thanks to the endowment with 16 top-of-the-line dialysis devices, the Center can serve about one hundred patients with chronic renal failure in the terminal stage.
"I am convinced that our example in the public private partnership in the field of dialysis is a good example, an example of constructive collaboration between the private environment and the state in order to achieve the main goals, such as – patients’ satisfaction, safety and quality of medical performance, the health of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. It is a true "Partnership for life", said Igor Curov, deputy medical director of the Institute of Urgent Medicine, representative of the public partner, quoted in a press release.
"With the opening of BB-Dialysis Center in Cahul, we have achieved one of the main missions of the project, ensuring at national level dialysis services of high quality, in accordance with European standards. Being focused exclusively on the needs of patients, we managed to open another center that exceeded the patients’ expectations. They wanted a high-performance center closer to home, we offered them more, "said Dmitri Onufreiuc, general manager of" BB-Dializă "Ltd.
All patients at the dialysis center in Cahul benefit from absolutely free round-trip transportation. Although it is an exclusively private center, access to services for patients from the Republic of Moldova is provided free of charge, based on the mandatory health insurance policy.
According to Petru Cepoida, medical director of BB-Dializă Ltd, the high quality of renal function substitution therapy is based on the individualized selection of the method of dialysis treatment (hemodialysis or hemodiafiltration) performed with German consumables for top of the line dialysis devices.
The medical services offered by "BB-Dialysis" Center in Cahul are supplemented by psychological counselling services, dietary services with a meal adjusted to the specific diet of the dialyzed patient. Thus, the components of an excellent medical service have been combined harmoniously: professional staff, state-of-the-art medical equipment and a friendly environment for patients.
