A man died hit by a car

A man died crushed by a car on Gagarin Blvd. of the capital. According to the inspector of the Road Traffic Safety, Administrative Supervision and PR Service of Chisinau Road Police, Ion Roscovanu, the accident happened on Gagarin Blvd at 23:40. A Volkswagen-Passat car, driven by a capital’s resident, aged 57, hit an unidentified man aged 40-45, who died as result of the impact. The police try to identify the victim. He was 1,70-1,75 m high, grey hair and moustache, wearing a black t-shirt and trousers, on the left hand he had an electronic watch, on the right one a tattoo. Three women were involved in a traffic accident in which one of them was injured, and the cars of the other two were damaged. Thus, a Suzuky car, driven by the inhabitant of Anenii-Noi raion, aged 34, has hit, at 13.30, on Miron Costin street, a woman aged 70. Then, the vehicle ran into a Ford-Sirerra car, driven by another women aged 52. The victim has suffered mental shock and concussions. A girl aged 16, being drunk and driving a Volkswagen-Golf, hit an electricity pillar on Vadul lui Voda roadway. The accident happened at 21.00. The girl was hospitalized at the hospital „V. Ignatenco” with mental shock and concussions. A young woman aged 28 was abandoned in a severe condition by a fugitive driver. The case happened at 22.30 in Revaca village. The young woman hit by the unidentified car was seriously injured and hospitalized in the therapy section of the Emergency Hospital. Over the past 24 hours, the road inspectors have registered 22 traffic accidents, resulting in one casualty and 3 injured. The policemen have identified 15 drunken drivers and 51 ignoring semaphores.
