The tickets to state budget-funded recreation and rehabilitation summer camps for children this year will cost an estimated 175 lei a day, by 12 lei more than in 2017, IPN reports, with reference to a Government decision that was proposed for public debates on particip.gov.md.

The tickets purchased from the National House of Social Insurance will be transmitted to the National Trade Union Confederation that will distribute these to primary trade union organizations through local trade union centers.

The authorities are recommended to offer free 25% of all the tickets to orphan children, children from one-parent and socially disadvantaged families and families with three and more children and children under guardianship or tutelage and from temporary placement centers and family-type services.

Free tickets will also be given to children with disabilities and persons accompanying them, children of war veterans and with good school standings, winners of school and non-school Olympiads. The authorities are also recommended to sell the rest of the tickets to those who want at a price equal to 20% of their cost.

The works to prepare the summer camps must be completed by May 18.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research will purchase tickets for 100 students from Romania, based on the cooperation protocol. Another 300 tickets will be bought for students of education institutions from the eastern districts and Bender town that are managed by the Ministry of Education. Another 100 tickets for children from Transnistrian education institutions will be bought following a common decision taken by the group of experts on education in the Transnistrian settlement process.
