As many as 879 Chisinau apartments have been sequestrated because the owners collected a total debt of 7.7 million lei for heat. The bailiffs restricted 770 bad payers’ access to bank cards until the debts are paid, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from SA “Termocom”, the courts of law passed judgment on 64 cases over debts of 1.3 million lei. A number of 48 cases for recovering debts of 566,000 lei are yet to be examined. The bad payers were issued with 380 notices for paying 2.9 million lei for the consumed heat. Another 117 civil lawsuits will be submitted to courts for recovering debts of over 1 million lei.
A number of 27 end-users last week paid about 220,000 lei for the consumed heat. SA “Termocom” calls on the consumers to clear the debts for heat as soon as possible so as to avoid being sued and having their property sequestrated.
