85-year-old struck by minibus in Chisinau

A man aged 85 was rushed to the hospital after he was involved in a road accident on Lev Tolstoi St in Chisinau on Friday. A freight minibus hit him. Traffic Police Division PR inspector Aurelia Mija has told Info-Prim Neo that the minibus brought goods to a shop situated nearby. When going out of the parking lot backwards, it struck the old man. The 23-year-old driver of the minibus took the man to the hospital himself. An investigation is under way.
