The Ministry of Education signed a partnership agreement with the Swiss foundation Swisscor based on which 84 Moldovan children from residential institutions will benefit from rest, recovery and specialized surgeries at the medical summer camp Swisscor this year. The camp will be hosted by the Swiss settlement Fiesch in Valais canton between July 14 and 28, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Education, the process of pre-selecting children starts this week. The selection team will include specialists from Switzerland and directors and doctors of residential institutions. Priority will be given to children with severe or partial disabilities and those who need medical care or supervision.
The medical summer camp Swisscor for Moldovan children is organized the fifth year. As many as 327 Moldovan children from residential institutions had been at the medical camps Swisscor in 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013.
