As many as 8,000 children from needy families from Chisinau were offered by 600 lei by the municipality for buying school supplies, IPN reports.
In Monday’s ordinary meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, adviser of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Botnaru said that for the first time in the municipality of Chisinau, the number of children who received financial assistance amounted to 8,000.
The students received by 600 lei. A sum of 4.8 million lei was allocated from the Chisinau budget for the purpose.
