8,000 children from socially underprivileged families from Chisinau municipality will receive financial assistance for preparing for the new school year from the local authorities. Head of the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda Tverdohleb Monday said the lump sums will be distributed starting with mid-August, IPN reports.
Tatiana Tverdohleb noted that the financial assistance this year will be by 100 lei higher and will represent 700 lei. A sum of 5.6 million lei was allocated from the municipal budget for the purpose.
