80% of economic entities in Chisinau face fines

The municipal police will draw up reports against the economic entities that do not clean the snow from the sidewalks near their buildings. According to the Public Amenities Division, about 80% of the economic entities in Chisinau face fines for this, Info-Prim Neo reports. The district heads said most of the entrepreneurs that did not perform snow removal works do not work on Saturday and Sunday, but the owners of cafes clean the areas nearby. Related statements were made in the January 23 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials. The head of the municipal police Silviu Musuc said that the private individuals who did no remove the snow from the areas near their offices face a fine of 800 lei, while the legal entities – of 2 000 lei. As many as 77 reports over the non-execution of snow removal works have been compiled so far this year. Of them, 58 were drawn up last week.
