71% of bills registered in Parliament are legislative initiatives of MPs

Most of the legislative initiatives were submitted by the MPs of the Party of Action and Solidarity and 62% of these were debated and adopted. 5% of the bills drafted by the members of the parliamentary opposition were adopted, shows the Report “Monitoring of work of Parliament of the eleventh legislature in 2021 – 2022”. The ratio of MPs to bills is 1:1 to 3, IPN reports.

The largest numbers of draft laws signed individually were proposed by Vladimir Bolea (PAS) – 19 bills and Dan Perciun (PAS) – 15. MPs Ilan Shor (Shor Party) and Kiril Tatarly (BCS) didn’t sign any bill as sponsors, while Fiodor Gagauz (BCS) and former MP Alla Dolință (BCS) signed by two bills in the current legislature.

The MPs thought up 71% of the bills registered in Moldova’s Parliament in July 2021 - July 2022.
