7 streets of the capital might be repaired this year

Chisinau mayoralty would like to repair 7 streets in the capital, as it was done with the street Bucharest. The latter one was repaired fully and does not make any difficulty to road management services of the capital. Among those 7 streets are Puskin, Banulescu-Bodoni, 31 august, Alecsandri, Armeneasca, Alexandru cel Bun and Columna where drives the public transport, including maxi-taxis transiting the center of Chisinau. Capital administration noted that it is more efficient to repair the whole street than to mend it every year. The interim mayor of the capital, Vasile Ursu required today, during mayoralty’s operative meeting, to persons responsible within Public Transport Public and Communications Department to evaluate the amount of investments. A working meeting in this sense will take place at the end of the week at the mayoralty. During the same meeting, Alexei Virlan, deputy head of Public Transport and Communications Department said that specialist of the capital need another day to finalize examining the situation of the streets of Chisinau. A week ago, management of the department announced that this year, there would be repaired this year about 400,000 square meters of roads. 9 teams are ready, and the repairing works will start in few days. There are about 700 streets in the capital.
