7 deaths in traffic accidents in last 24 hours

Seven people died in the last 24 hours in 11 traffic accidents. According to the Traffic Police Division, the most tragic accident happened in Cantemir district on the 87th km of highway R-34, in which three people died, a minor among them, reports Info-Prim Neo. The Traffic Police Division mentions that a young 23-year-old man, who was driving a 320 BMW vehicle, lost control of the steering and hit a tree on the sidewalk. As a result, the driver died on the spot. Two other passengers, one of whom a 12-year-old girl, died in the Cantemir district hospital. Additionally, three other people who were in the car are currently hospitalized with various injuries. The youth involved in the accident were returning from a wedding. Another accident happened in Telenesti on highway R-14 Balti-Sarateni, near Banesti village. A 59-year-old bicyclist was fatally hit by a truck that was driven by a 38-year-old man. As a result of the accident, the bicyclist died immediately. In Cahul city, a Ford Focus driven by a 25-year-old on Republicii Street hit a post and rolled over. As a result, an 18-year-old girl died, and the driver and another passenger, aged 27, were transported to the hospital with various injuries.
