Sixty-four political parties are formally allowed to participate in the presidential election and the national constitutional referendum to take place simultaneously on October 20. The list was published by the Central Electoral Commission.
Per the electoral legislation, any party duly registered with the Public Services Agency before the date of the election is announced may nominate candidates for elections and participants in referenda.
