61 new A (H1N1) pandemic flu cases confirmed

A number of 61 cases of pandemic influenza A (H1N1) had been confirmed in Moldova from yesterday until this morning, by 8.00. The total number of cases is now 174, Galina Obreja, division head at the Ministry of Health, has told Info-Prim Neo. The persons are of different ages. Those from Chisinau were admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital “Toma Ciorba” and the municipal hospital No.4, while those from other regions – to the infectious diseases sections of the district hospitals. As many as 399 suspect cases of pandemic flu have been recorded so far.
