A man aged 60 died on the way to the hospital after he was hit by train No.342 running on the Moscow – Chisinau road, near Verejeni village of Telenesti district, in the evening of September 24, IPN reports.
Contacted by IPN, the head of the press service of the state-run Moldova’s Railways Daniela Juganaru said the man who died was on the railroad. The engine driver called immediately the police and an ambulance, but the man died on the way to the hospital. The train was heading for Chisinau. It arrived with a delay of 7 minutes.
