A man aged 56 died when the car he was driving was struck at high speed by a truck whose brake purportedly malfunctioned at an intersection in Bender town, IPN reports, quoting the de facto ministry of the interior of the Transnistrian region.
The trailer truck ran into two cars and then overturned.
Eyewitnesses helped the driver and the passenger from the second car to get out. One of them was hospitalized with head injuries. The truck driver got out himself.
No child was involved in the accident.
