About 5,000 baccalaureate test papers, or 5% of the total, scored insufficient. The grade with the highest distribution was 7, scored by 33.68% of papers, while only 4.03% got the top grade of 10. These are the preliminary results of the BAC 2012 session, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Education, out of the 111,184 tests, 11.05% were grade with a 9, 19.38% with an 8, 17.59% with a 6 and 9.82% with a 5.
The results were announced today, June 29, at the baccalaureate centers. An answer key and a grading rubric were published for BAC candidates so that they could see the right answers and evaluation criteria. They have the option to appeal within the next 48 hours.
Each candidate has the right to see his paper in a separate room, but only in the presence of the head of the BAC center. The commissions for examination of appeals will begin their work on July 2. The final results of the baccalaureate session 2012 will be announced in July, after the extra session ends.
About 30,000 pupils took the baccalaureate exams in 159 BAC centers during the 2012 BAC session.
