Orange Moldova launched its 4G Internet service. Thanks to this technology, users will have access to mobile ultra-broadband Internet at speeds of 100 Mbps, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The launching was organized on Monday evening, November 19. Prime Minister Vlad Filat, who attended the event, said that the presence of this latest generation technology in Moldova was very important and was for the benefit of customers. “Moldovan companies understand the need for quality and sufficient investments in information technologies, which may provide us with a unique chance to make and economic leap forward”.
The company’s CEO Ludmila Climoc listed among Orange Moldova’s other innovations the launch of HD voice mobile telephony, which means higher quality of communication, the implementation of SMS Banking services and the launch of the mobile signature service.
In Moldova, mobile telephony operator Moldcell also has a 4G license.
