As many as 4,637 applications for the reexamination of the old-age pension of the total over 18,000 planned have been filed starting with January 1, 2021. The National House of Social Insurance said 1,901 of all the submitted applications were filed online through www.cnas.md, while 2,736 applications were presented in person to the local subdivisions, IPN reports.
As of January 1, 2021, there are reexamined the pensions of those who became entitled to an old-age pension after January 1, 1999 and have an insurance period after retirement of seven to ten years.
The new rights to pension are provided from the month coming after the month the required documents – application and copy of the identity card - are submitted to the local house of social insurance. The rise in pension after reexamination depends on the length of insurance period and the size of insured earnings.
Given the risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 and in order to reduce the flow of applicants at the local subdivisions, the National House of Social Insurance asks the recipients of pensions to file an application for the reexamination of the pension online. The procedure is not difficult and only several simple steps need to be taken on www.cnas.md.
