A number of 45 general education institutions in eight districts remain closed owing to the unfavorable weather conditions. Approximately 11,000 students didn’t go to school.
According to the information service of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, 66 school routes were suspended owing to the snowy roads.
The orange code advisory for bad weather expired yesterday evening. No precipitation was forecast for today. It will snow lightly on Saturday, January 20.
