A woman aged 44 who had an 11-year-old daughter and a son aged 20 died in last week’s storehouse fire in Chisinau. The woman was from Revaca commune of Sangera town, IPN reports.
When the fire started, the woman was inside the storehouse and she could not escape. Her carbonized remains were found the building four days later.
The platform guvern24.md made a public appeal to donate money so as to raise €1,000 for the woman’s burial.
In the case of the killed fireman, the platform made a similar appeal for collecting about 300,000 lei, which is the family’s debt to a bank. The necessary sum was raised and measures are now being taken to clear the debt.
