44 buildings remained without water due to construction company

The Chisinau water supplier SA Apa-Canal Chisinau has informed that 44 apartment buildings in Chisinau’s Botanica district stayed without water for a day owing to a construction company that damaged a water pipe at the intersection of the streets Cuza Voda and Sarmizegetusa during drilling works, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from SA Apa-Canal Chisinau, the company’s specialists intervened immediately and worked on Wednesday until 22.00 in order to fix the pipe. The damage caused to the water supplier hasn’t been determined yet. The company said that this is not the first case when water leakages happen because of economic entities. This autumn, a considerable amount of water leaked on the territory of a shop. The damage was assessed at about 20,000 lei.
