41 of 105 available public property facilities privatized in 2012

The Public Property Agency last year put up for privatization 105 public property facilities. Of them, 41 were privatized for 140 million lei. More than 130 million lei was transferred to the state budget as a result. This is about 50% of the budgetary task for 2012, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Agency, state holdings in 12 joint stock companies were sold for over 61 million lei at the three outcry auctions held at the Stock Exchange Last year there were also held three investment contests and three commercial contests. State holdings in seven joint stock companies were sold at the investment contests for over 30 million lei, with a volume of investments of almost 65 million lei during three years. Three movie theaters located in Vulcanesti, Rezina, and Stefan Voda were privatized for 1.63 million lei, the investment volume being over 7 million lei. Two state-run companies were sold for over 20 million lei altogether at the commercial contests.
