The Republic of Moldova will benefit from €40 million in grant funding for building the resilience of the state and society. Parliament ratified the financing agreement for the EU4 Resilience and Governance Program with the European Commission, which was signed on May 11, 2023, IPN reports.
The Action under which the grant is provided will support resilience, recovery and reform in the Republic of Moldova and aims at enhancing state and societal resilience as well as socio-economic recovery, with a particular focus on good governance, stability and peace, as well as providing opportunities for all in an inclusive manner.
The agreement forms part of the European Union’s Annual Action Plan in favor of the Republic of Moldova for 2022, its implementation period being 2023-2026.
